Diwali started getting an urge. It was some years ago now that she would suddenly announce that she was going to paint a goddess. These announcements of hers would always be most unexpected as if the goddess would come knocking at her door saying I have come to visit let me in! Everyday the goddess would remind her until she could get around to do it and then after completing she would start the next one with another unexpected announcement.As if driven from within these magnificent art pieces would emerge from day to day. Each piece taking her months to complete.Currently she is working on Lakshmi, goddess of wealth. Quite a large canvas on which she has adorned Lakshmi with gold coins and all manner of jewels. It has cost a fortune in bits and pieces that she dutifully glues to the canvas to create something that is already within her and driving her to complete.Nowadays we have a house full of goddesses, they are quite gorgeous really and I am trying to understand why are they visiting her consciousness.In terms of inner consciousness we all wish to make progress and discover those unmanifest secret realms but where is the door? Perhaps Devi is the doorkeeper and they are the way to Diwali's next inner experience for everyday she prays and talks with god and in her own way is quite religious and I am quite thrilled that at least one of us is in touch with the inner realms.
